Brian Jacques died on the 5th. The author of the Redwall series was a favorite author of mine when I was younger. In fact he is still a favorite, his works may have been written for children but they were timeless. It seems like a part of my childhood is gone now. He is one of the people who inspired me to write. I am thankful that I was able to enjoy the experience of reading his books.
I wish the best for his family.
