Today is the day the Panamal Canal was finished in 1913 with the opening of a dike. Yesterday was Columbus day here in US. Which is a strange holiday since Columbus just didn't know where he was. It was also Thanksgiving in Canada ,where the first Thanksgiving was and Hangul day in South Korea which celebrates the written alphabet. Interesting fact is North Korea celebrates Hangul Day in January. Speaking(or writing) of Korea North Korea announced they have done a nuclear test. It seems many are surprised by the nuclear test especially us in the U.S. but I think if some country sent me a 2 & 1/2 page report yet wouldn't even take to us and call us the Axis of Evil which steals someone else's name I might add I think I would not pay attention to them ether only difference is North Korea decided to basically give the finger as well. Also would President Bush mind not commenting on everything as soon as it happens sometimes waiting and finding out information by several sources is a solid strategy.
