Another look at Kony
A friend referred me to this great article- reaction-solution-kony-2012 As much of an injustice the whole Joseph Kony situation is I have my own problem with the invisible children campaign. These center around the fact that facts are tweaked and a few logical fallacies being utilized. These are not discussed in this article but it does have some solid points about how there are even worst injustices going on in the world that are not being mentioned.

The French in the news
The French Republic has banned the use of the words "facebook" and "twitter" on television and radio unless they are being directly mentioned. They claim it acts as advertising for the sites. I find this interesting as I agree and believe the continual reference of people in media does serve as a form of support. I never thought of this concerning things especially social networks before. I know some have criticized the act as a way to lessen Western influence or just nonsense but I can see the logic in it.
Here is an article on the topic for more info: huffingtonpost.com/2011/06/03/french-ban-twitter-facebook_n_871153.html

Disappointment in Japan's Prime Min.. no America
So last night I found that Abe the Prim Minister of Japan announced he would step down. Well despite the scandals his party has had this year the most disappointing thing to me were the many headlines in America reading "Sayonnara Abe". Now I know not everyone is learning Japanese but is this really the only Japanese phrase all the newspapers know? And don't they look at competitor's sites & papers and say "this phrase is growing a bit old already, isn't it?" This isn't the first time I've noticed these repeating headlines but it's starting to become an irritant. So I must ask: Please news writers reconsider your headline. Actually when I think of it more.Don't change. That would take away something I could laugh at. Yeah there are already many things I laugh at but why take one away?

So it is final that N.Korea did fire a nuclear bomb of some sort. I really don't know what is so exciting about nuclear weapons anymore.
At a point will we all have to quote Prince's 1999 song "Everybody's got a bomb we can all die any day"? If so I would also rather dance my life away!
-Oh what happens when you write things while you are tired!
